The epic story of Emperor Charlemagne narrated and sung by the legendary actor Christopher Lee, named ‘2005’s most marketable star in the world’ in a USA Today newspaper poll, for cinematic milestones such as: Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars and Dracula amongst literally hundreds of movies – many of them box office hits.
The Carandinis, Lee's maternal ancestors, were given the right to bear the coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire by the Emperor Frederick Barbarossa. Through his Carandinis ancestors, Christopher Lee has a direct link to Charlemagne, and has decided for the first time in his life to pay homage to his distinguished ancestor.
The Emperor Charlemagne is a CD recording with narration, original songs, orchestral music, and bonus DVD due to release in early 2009. Special guest stars from the movie world to be announced will join this exceptional project by one of the most legendary actors ever. |
